    It may also be used to alert against unsafe practices.

      Doing so may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.

    • square Security settings
      Wireless LAN sends and receives data using radio waves so there is a risk of transmitted data being subject to eavesdropping and illegal access.
      When using wireless LAN, configure the security settings to ensure the security of transmitted data and ensure that you have an adequate understanding of the risks involved.

      There is no need to apply for a license as the connection adapter is subject to certification for specific wireless equipment based on the Radio Law.

Meanings of WARNING Symbols:

    When operating an air conditioner from outside the home, use caution and be aware that there might be people near the unit or the area surrounding the unit. Therefore, make sure to adequately check for safety before use.
    In some cases, there is a risk of death, severe injury, or property damage.
    • square Check the following in advance (while at home):
      Doing so may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
      Timer settings or reservations that other users may have made.
      There is a risk of causing harm to the health of people, animals, or plants in the home.
      There are no signs of abnormality in the air conditioning system. Harm will not be caused if there is a change in airflow. For example, that there are no objects nearby that might blow over.
      There is a risk of objects falling, fire, bodily injury, or property damage.
    • square Check the following before/while operating a unit from outside the home:
      If you know that there is someone at home, inform the person when turning the air conditioner on or off from outside the home.
      If someone at home is standing on a stool, etc., the air conditioner turning on or off unexpectedly could surprise them and cause them to fall or topple over. Additionally, a sudden change in the indoor/outdoor temperature could harm the health of people at home.
      Regularly check the settings and operating status of the air conditioner.
      Sudden changes in indoor/outdoor temperature poses a health hazard. There is a risk of harm to animals and plants.
      If an error occurs during operation, immediately turn off the air conditioner and contact the place of purchase. Check the display to confirm that the power is off.
[Notification]
    • The smartphone operating details are not reflected in the display of the wireless remote controller.
      When operating the air conditioner from a smartphone, the receiving tone does not sound from the air conditioner.
      This is not a malfunction.
      The connection adapter cannot be used in conjunction with a centralized management device such as HA or a wired remote controller.
      Depending on the model of the air conditioner, the external ambient temperature may not be displayed when the air conditioner is stopped.

  • Displays the current status of the connection with the system.
    “In-Home” (At home): Connected via domestic LAN. Displays when operating from indoors.
    “Out-of-Home” (Not at home): Connected via server using “Out-of-Home” (Not at home) function. Displays when operating from outside the home.

    Notification about forgetting to attach the deodorizing filter of the air purifier, etc.

    The tank for Humidifying operation of the air purifier is empty.

Initial setup
Add an adapter, Set a unit name and icon, Set up “Out-of-Home” (Not at home)
  • Add an adapter.
    1) Tap “Add adapter” on the App menu.
    2) Follow the on-screen instructions to connect an adapter to your home network.
  • Set a unit name and icon.
    1) Tap “Home” on the App menu.
    2) Tap the more options menu icon in the top right of the screen. → Units overview (Home)
    3) Tap “Edit units” to set a unit name and icon.→ Edit units
To use the unit when outside the home, follow the procedures in 3
After completing setup, you will be able to operate the unit from outside the home after logging in from “Log in (Not at home) “Out-of-Home”” on the App menu.

  • Set up “Out-of-Home”.
    1) Tap “Home” on the App menu.
    2) Tap the name of the unit that you want to operate from outside the home.→ Units overview (Home)
    3) Tap the gear icon in the top right of the screen to open the Adapter settings screen.→ Operation settings
    4) Tap ““Out-of-Home” (Not at home)” and on the next screen slide the bar to ON.→ “Out-of-Home” (Not at home)
    5) Set a Login ID and password.

  • Tap to open/close the App menu.
  • Displays the total number of air conditioner units connected to the adapter.
  • Tap to close the list of units belonging to the group.
  • Displays name of the group and number of units belonging to the group.
    To edit groups → Edit groups
  • Displays name of the unit.
    Tap to change operation settings. → Operation settings
    To change units name → Edit units
  • Displays the ON/OFF status of the unit.
    Tap to turn the unit(s) ON/OFF.
    • power 1 : Unit is ON.

  • Tap to cancel any entered digits. (Incomplete entries are not saved.)

Please take care not to forget your child lock code. In case of a forgotten lock code, it is necessary to initialize the adapter. All data, including power consumption, will be erased when initializing the adapter. For details on how to initialize the adapter, please refer to the installation manual for the adapter.

[About the screen]
  • Displays the ON/OFF status of the “Out-of-Home” (Not at home) function.
    Tap to make settings for operation from outside the home. For details, refer to [“Out-of-Home” (Not at home)] below.
  • Tap to change your home network.
    (Displays only during installation setup.)
  • When you tap “Connection test”, the [POWER], [RUN], and [AP] lamps on the adapter will blink for a maximum of about 3 minutes.
  • Slide to turn ON/OFF the LED lamps on the adapter.
    This is a useful function if the brightness of the indicator lamps becomes bothersome at night or other times.
  • Tap to display the time and time zone for the adapter.
    For details, refer to [Time] below.
  • Displays the firmware version, IP address, and MAC address for the adapter.

[About the screen]
  • Slide to turn ON/OFF the “Out-of-Home” (Not at home) function.
    When this is ON, the unit can be operated from outside the home via the internet.
    When turning the function ON for the first time for a unit, slide the bar to ON and follow the on-screen instructions to set a Login ID and password.
  • Displays the Login ID for the unit.
  • Tap to change the password for the unit.
[About the login ID and password]
  • Login ID and password are necessary to operate the unit from out of home. Please keep in a safe place.
  • The login ID is used to identify your adapter when using the Out-of-Home function to operate the unit from a smartphone via the internet.
  • The password cannot be the same as the login ID.
  • In order to use the product safely, and to avoid unauthorized use, it is highly recommended that you set a password that cannot be easily guessed by other people.
  • In order to use the product safely, and avoid unauthorized use of the remote control, please do not share your login ID and password for the Out-of-Home function with others.

[About the screen]
This is displayed when 2 or more adapters are on the same network. It is possible to check multiple units, using the same settings, on the “Units overview (Home)” screen when operating the units from outside your home. Please tap “Cancel” when setting the Login ID and Password for each unit.

  • Date and time are set automatically and displayed.
  • Time zone is detected automatically and displayed.
    If you want to change the time zone, tap “Time zone” and select the desired time zone from the list.
  • Slide to turn ON/OFF the “Automatic DST” function.
    When this is ON, the time on the adapter will automatically change to Daylight Saving Time. If this function is not needed, set it to OFF.

  • Displays indoor temperature and humidity.(The displayed temperature and humidity are rough estimates.)
  • Displays the air condition. Displays the amount of PM2.5 and dust and the strength of odours with 6 numerical level and 3 colours.
  • Displays the operation settings. Tap to set each function.
    Operations from the app may be restricted depending on the operation mode of the unit.

Set the days of the week and times that specific operations start and end, and other detailed settings.

Vacation mode
“Vacation mode” is used when you want to turn off your units when you leave your home for a longer time. When “Vacation mode” is enabled, all connected units are turned OFF and all schedule timers are disabled. To cancel "Vacation mode", set it to OFF.

[About the screen]
  • Enter the Login ID and password for “Out-of-Home” (Not at home) set from the Adapter settings screen.
    Adapter settings
  • Check to remember the password.
  • Check to remain logged-in to “Out-of-Home” at all times.
    When the app is restarted, if a connected unit is detected, a connection via domestic LAN is established. However, if no connected units are detected, “Out-of-Home” (Not at home) mode automatically starts.
    Automatically becomes unchecked if you log out from the App menu.
  • Tap to log in.
    When logged-in the text displayed on the App menu changes from “Log in (Not at home) “Out-of-Home”” to “Log out (At home) “In-Home””.
    To log out, tap “Log out (At home)” on the App menu.
[Note]
  • Some functions cannot be set in ““Out-of-Home” (Not at home)” mode.
  • When operating the air conditioner from outside the home, it takes approximately 1 minute until changes are reflected in the settings. During this time, only the final setting will be reflected, regardless of how many times the settings are changed.
DEMO mode
Test out the app's functions even when a unit is not connected to a network. (Your smartphone must be connected to the internet to use DEMO mode.)

Depending on the model of the unit, functions that are actually available when a unit is connected to a network may differ from those available in DEMO mode.
Add adapter
Add an adapter to your home network. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
General settings
Reinitialize the app, switch displayed temperature units (Celsius and Fahrenheit), etc.
Reinitialize application
When you reinitialize the application, your login ID and password will be deleted from the login history.
Temperature unit
Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display.
License agreement
Displays the License agreement for the app.
Open source license
Displays the Open source license.
