
Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., in collaboration with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, supported the 37th Northern Region Air Conditioner Installation Skills Competition for the Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE) level for the academic year 2025. The competition was held from 8–12 December 2025 at Phitsanulok Technical College, Phitsanulok Province, with a total of 17 teams from vocational colleges participating.
The competition, comprising both theoretical and practical components, aimed to promote and enhance vocational students’ competencies in theory, piping work, welding and the practical application of air conditioner installation knowledge to professional standards. Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd. served as the main sponsor of the competition by dispatching certified experts from Daikin Industries, Japan, to share technical expertise and best practices, as well as to provide guidance on the proper and safe use of tools. This initiative was designed to enhance hands-on experience and prepare participants for professional careers in the future.





In addition, Daikin organized a special activity, “Daikin Activity Day,” for instructors and vocational students participating in the competition. The activity focused on strengthening skills in welding, piping and the effective application of technical knowledge in practical work.



The competition results were as follows:
• First Prize: Phitsanulok Technical College
• First Runner-up: Phrae Technical College
• Second Runner-up: Uthai Thani Technical College




Daikin executives and staff presented awards to congratulate and encourage all participants. The first prize winner and the first runner-up will represent the Northern Region at the national-level competition to be held in Buriram Province in February 2026.
Daikin extends its congratulations to all participating teams and reaffirms its commitment to continuously supporting the development of vocational skills. This commitment aims to cultivate highly skilled professional technicians who will play a vital role in driving the sustainable growth of Thailand’s industrial sector.
