Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., led by Mr. Nuttapong Hunjaed, General Manager, Mr. Suranan Vichai, Advisor and CSR team participated in the activity of releasing economic marine species, organized by Ban Suan City Municipality Office at Cholmarkwithi Bridge, Bang Pla Soi, Mueang Chonburi, Chonburi province. With Mr. Prawit Sangpleng, The Municipal Secretary, acting on behalf of The Mayor of Ban Suan Municipality, serving as The Chairman of the ceremony along with community leaders in Chonburi province and The Network of Local Volunteers for Environmental Conservation. The objective of the project is to encourage public participation in the conservation and restoration of marine resources to maintain their abundance and to create a network for environmental management within communities.
Daikin has supported economic marine species by donating 10,000 juvenile sea bass to Ban Suan City Municipality Office and communities in Chonburi province, as well as provided Daikin drinking water for use in this activity.
This activity is part of a collaboration between the government, private sector and communities to conserve and restore marine resources in Chonburi province, with the aim of ensuring the abundance and sustainability of aquatic resources in the long term.
